The "munsters" were so excited to get a box today from Miss Deber (aka Deborah) and Mr John. They loved everything in the box and Deber did a good job a picking stuff that they would know was from her. They got popsicles, bears, bear coloring books, shirts and candy. The first things that the munsters would ask for at her house was "snacks" and popsicles. Then they knew they could only look at all the little bears at her house. The kiddos made sure that they got to call Miss Deber and Mr John tonight to tell them thank you for their box. We love and miss you guys!

Day Four

This morning went much better. He even got a stamp on his hand today for doing a good job in PE. I was going to take a picture of it, but it was too worn off. Maybe next time.

Day Three

Shayne was very happy this morning until I told him that he had to wear his sneakers. He really wanted to wear his flip flops, but he has PE today. After a little while he did get over it, but not without giving me some attitude about it. Since he was still mad when I wanted to take his picture this is the picture I got with him sticking his tongue out at me. By the time we left for school he was fine and said he was going to have another great day.

When I picked Shayne up today the teacher helped him get in the car. Then she said " I just have to tell you how polite Shayne is. I have not had one so polite in years and it so appreciated. He is also very sweet. Thank you" I told her thank you very much and it means a lot to us for him to be polite to everyone. I think the smile on my face then might have beat the one from yesterday or it was very close. : )

Day Two

When I picked up Shayne today he wouldn't tell me how his day went, because he didn't want Casey to know. As you can tell they love each other so much. I let it go to avoid them arguing in the car. Then I few minutes later I hear Shayne saying "R-E-D Red R-E-D Red" over and over again. When I looked in the mirror at him he had the biggest smile on his face. I asked him if he learned to spell that today and he said with a great big smile "Yes Mam". Although I am not sure who's smile was bigger mine or his. It might be a little thing, but it meant the world to me. I can't explain how happy I am that Shayne is enjoying and is excited to be learning at school. I hope it makes everyone else : ) too.

When his alarm went off he sat up and said "I have to get up this early, its still dark outside and I won't be able to see my numbers and letters" I promised it would be light out when he went to school and after relaxing in bed while I made his breakfast he got right up to start his day.

Meet the Teacher Night 8/21/08

Shayne was excited to go to meet the teacher night at his school. His teacher is Ms Sanderson.He went in the classroom and found the desk with his name on it and took to playing with all the toys in the room.
