Sammy : )

I recently sent a box of Shayne's clothes he out grew to my nephew Sammy. They received the box the other day and were so thrilled with all the stuff that I had sent. That part of the story is nothing out of the ordinary for my family.

The special part of the story is that my brother and his family called to say thank you for everything. Then he told me that Sammy wanted to tell me something. The sweetest little child voice got on the phone and said "thank you Aunt Colleen Go Go Diego!" Then it was followed by "row, row, row, row Boat". That brought the biggest smile to my face. I just wanted to reach through the phone and give him the biggest hug in the world. The part that most of you may not understand is that those are the first words I have really heard him say. He has been in speech therapy and is doing an amazing job. I couldn't be more proud of him!

By the way Go Go Diego was referring to a pair of Diego sandals I had sent. From what I understand they have only come off for him to go to bed and he loves them! Sammy and his new "Go Go Diego" sandals

4th of July

We had a nice 4th of July. The kids got to play outside most of the day and then we watched fireworks that we could see in the distance from the neighborhood. ( Casey is still afraid of them, so I didn't want her to cry)

Pictures 7/2/07

The other day we were pretty bored and decided to take some pictures. The kids were outside playing, but they were not cooperating to have pics taken. Then Shayne wanted to take some pictures of Mommy and here are a few of them. These are basically what he took other then trimming a little bit out to center them. I think he takes after Mommy on the photography part : )!

You can tell he was just getting started, but I like it
