Our newest addition to the family

My niece Jessica and her husband Larry our very proud of their new adorable son. Dominic Ivan D'Alba was born 9/25/07 7:43pm 7lbs 13ozs 21 inches.
He was well worth the wait! Best wishes to you guys and enjoy every precious moment!

Our Rainbow 9/22/07

The kids and I were were going to go visit the neighbors. It was sprinkling outside even though the sun was out. As soon as Shayne got to the end of the driveway he told me there was a rainbow. Shayne was so excited that there was rainbow. I couldn't tell him no when he asked "Can you take a picture pretty please?"

I had done our laundry and it was sitting in a basket in the living room to be put away. For some reason Casey decided to play with the clothes. Although much to my surprise it wasn't to just dumped them all over the floor. She decided she was going to be Mommy. When I came back in the room I just laughed. To make it even better she was standing there telling me "I'm Mommy!"

The Modern Day Garbage Pail Kids

You would think with all the toys that our kids have they wouldn't be doing this......lol The kids decided that I really didn't buy the garbage cans for yard work. These are the best toys in the world now. They can climb in them hide, roll across the yard and push each other around. They are having fun, but I sure am getting weird looks from the neighbors. There goes my mom of the year award....lol

The kids get to play with a puppy

Chrissy brought their new puppy Luke over to visit. He is very cute. Shayne had fun with him, but Casey still didn't want to have much to do with a puppy. The sad part is Luke really wanted to play with Casey. Casey just kept running away and he kept following her where ever she went. Right before they left though Casey finally decided it was ok to pet him and he wasn't such a bad puppy after all . : )

Kiddos Sleeping 9/7/07

Here are some pictures of the kiddos sleeping, but not exactly in the most normal places. The kids did not take their nap and were not being very good by the time bedtime was approaching. I was on the phone in my room and they would not leave me alone. They got upset when I told them to be quite and let me talk for a minute. I knew where Casey was, but Shayne had gotten very quite and I didn't know where he was. I looked all through the house and didn't see him anywhere. Of course the last place I looked there he was. I couldn't help but laugh at them both. It goes to show when kids are tired and finally stay still for a moment they will go to sleep anywhere. : )

The Circus 9/2/07

I took the kids to a small circus that was in town. We met our friend Laura (her husband Greg is in Matt's unit) and her two sons Greg and Gabrial. The kids enjoyed seeing tigers, lions, elephants, camels and even some dogs doing tricks. They thought the juggling and trampoline acts were cool too. Although I think their favorite part was talking mommy into the toys at the circus....lol They had a good time and made new friends, so its all worth it. : )
