The kids have gone own their vacation to Fl with Nana and Pop-Pop for two weeks. They were so excited to go. They thought it was so funny that Mommy had to stay here and go to work. They didn't shed any tears as they told me bye, but I did. When I started to cry telling Shayne bye he gave me a hug and told me its ok Mommy I've got you. Then I had to wipe the tears away, because he said he made me all better. Casey didn't seem phased by the idea that she was going away from Mommy. I held it together until they were pulling away and I was waving bye to them. Shayne did cry big alligator tears just after they had left, because he was going to miss his Mommy bunches. (He is my Lil buddy)
So far so good the kids are having fun down there and doing just fine with being away from home : )

Their first vacation from the parents for an extended time!!!! And you let them go. (LOL) I hope you gave them big hugs for me too.. Dont worry nonny they will be back soon.

I remember my Jacob's first visit to Grandma's house. It was hard. Now I have his bags packed and ready to go a week before school is out for the summer so that he can leave ASAP!! Ha! Ha! Actually it's him that has his bags packed a week early so that he can leave me ASAP!
