I think the toughest part about leaving NC was leaving our neighbors/friends/our adopted family sometimes known as the Brushy Hill Gang. I don't even know where to begin with you guys. You were ALWAYS there for us no matter what. Thanks for checking on me and the kids while Matt was away, for keeping the yard up(I still owe Charlie a summer floating in the pool while I cut his yard : ) ), playing with the kids, loving the kids like they were your own, and always making us feel like we were part of your family too. We will miss the rides on the golf cart for the kids, playing darts, pool or fuse ball, the trips to the race track, just hanging out with the gang, New Years Eve parties and lastly thirsty Thursday or CCL time won't be the same.
With are final goodbyes done our vehicles loaded and a few tears we were off on the adventure to Texas.
