It has taken me awhile to decide what to say about Paw-Paw. He was a very strong part of our family. It took me awhile to get to know him and in many ways I got to know him through everyone
elses eyes. There are so many
stories in the family that have been told or you always knew how he would react to whatever the family has done now. There was always something about his persona there that let you know you were safe with him and he was the rock of the family. He could make you laugh with his
sarcasm and when he smiled you just had to smile with him. Maybe most of all when he gave you a hug you knew he meant it with all his heart without even saying a word. He is gone now to be one of the stars in the sky, so if the kids ever miss him all they have to do is wish on a star and Paw-Paw will hear them. I guess there will be a lot of wishing on the stars, because he is truly missed.

As Paw Paw looks at his beautiful family you know that he is smiling and is now watching over each and everyone of you.....just ask Shayne, he will tell you, if you want to talk to Paw Paw, just wish on a star.
