National discovery Network Convention Myrtle Beach 11/9-11/11

Casey had been selected a few months back to participate in a modeling convention that was held this weekend in Myrtle Beach. We decided it was worth the experience if nothing else to try this. Of course it helps that Casey loves to have her picture taken and is such a cutie. They had a rehearsal runway practice on Friday morning. Then Saturday we went in front of the judges. Then Sunday morning the posted the callbacks by the agents for the kids.

(There was a live video feed going zoomed in on Casey showing her on two screens behind us too)

Casey blew them all a kiss before she went off stage. Then I had to pick her up to get her off the stage, because she wanted to do it again.

We were so proud of her being such a big girl. She did the best that she could do.

On Sunday she did get one call back from an agent in Charlotte NC. He has a lot of experience in the business. Matt and I were both impressed with how straight forward he was about everything. He will get in touch with us shortly to let us know if we need to have another head shot done of Casey and where we will go from there. No matter what though we had fun and she will always be our little model!

Ripley's Aquarium 11/9/07

We went Myrtle Beach SC for the weekend. The kids enjoyed the trip. We went to the aquarium and they loved the beach. Although they thought the beach was only in FL. LOL : )

Delta Company's Award Ceremony 11/7/07

Matt's company had their award ceremony on November 7,2007. The soldiers have all received awards for the time they served in Iraq. They held this ceremony to share some of the achievements with their families.

Casey got a present late on her birthday from Ginger. She was excited to get a brush set, so she can be a little baby model. She also got a shirt that said Princess on it.

If nothing else there is no doubt that Daddy's Darlin and Mommy's Princess is a very loved little 3 year old girl! : )
