Shayne's Boo-boo

Shayne was playing tonight in the kitchen with one of his big trucks. I think he was trying to ride on it. All of the sudden he started crying and came into the living room with his hand over his mouth. I asked him what happened and when he moved his hand it was covered in blood. So I quickly got him a paper towel and saw that he had busted his lip. Once we got the bleeding to stop I got him a washcloth with an ice cube in it. I think he did a good job at getting his first fat lip...lol. As you can see in the pictures he was so pitiful : ( ! He sat there until it was time to go to bed with his bottom lip puckered out because it hurt. Then he couldn't give me goodnight kisses, because it hurt. He was sweet enough to give me Eskimo and butterfly kisses instead : ).

Slip-n-Slide 6/8/07

Kary & Raya come to visit 6/3/07

We were all very excited that my friend Kary come to visit with her little girl Raya. I was so happy to get to play with Raya for the first time. The kids did great being "little helpers" for baby Raya. Shayne even cried the first night, because he wanted Raya to sleep in his bed with him. We took the kids shopping, to the park and even out to eat. Kary even got to go with us to Courtney's graduation party and experience the NC version of a pig roast a "pig pickin". (the post with the kids splashing in the water was at the graduation party). The rest of our weekend was Kary and I staying up catching up on our lives now and laughing about the old times. For those that don't know Kary was my first friend when I was 16 and moved to Bunnell FL. We have been through a lot to say the least.

Thanks so much for coming to visit! I really enjoyed it and I hope you can come visit again.
